On April 26, the Invigilator Unit Assembly elected the Invigilator pre-Bargaining Committee. Congratulations to Mohammed Antar (chair), Gokcan Sahin, and Peymon Montazeri. Congratulations as well to Devin Dickerson, who was elected Chief Delegate Invigilator.
We are entering into a very important pre-Bargaining year when you have the opportunity to influence our new contract with McGill. Through the process of Collective Bargaining, the mandate that you give your pre-Bargaining Committee will affect the role of invigilators across campus. Now is the time to speak up about invigilator working conditions so that we can collectively find solutions to better protect your workplace rights. Le vendredi 26 avril, Assemblée Générale des surveillant.e.s d’examen a élu le comité de pré-négociation des surveillant.e.s. Félicitations à Mohammed Antar (président), Gokcan Sahin et Peymon Montazeri. Félicitations également à Devin Dickerson, qui a été élue déléguée en chef des surveillant.e.s d’examen.
Nous entamons une année très importante avant des négociations, lorsque vous avez la possibilité d'influencer notre nouveau contrat avec McGill. Tout au long du processus de négociation collective, le mandat que vous donnez à votre comité de pre-négociation aura une incidence sur le rôle des surveillant.e.s d’examen à l'échelle du campus. Le moment est venu d'examiner des conditions de travail des surveillant.e.s afin que nous puissions trouver ensemble des solutions pour mieux protéger vos droits.
