AGSEM has reached an agreement with McGill to modify Article 4.11.01 of the Collective Agreement. As a result of this agreement, the employee lists sent to the union by the employer will now include employee email addresses on top of employee names, McGill ID, mailing addresses, employing Hiring Units, salaries and the amount of union dues deducted.

Letter of Agreement
WHEREAS / ATTENDU QUE: Article 4.11.01 of the collective agreement establishes the delay for the Employer to pay union dues as well as providing the union with an Employee list in electronic format containing the following information: Employee names, (both family and first), McGill ID, mailing addresses, employing Hiring Units, salaries and the amount of union dues deducted; /

WHEREAS / ATTENDU QUE: The Union is requesting to modify article 4.11.01 of the collective agreement to include e-mail addresses as part of the information to be provided;/

The Parties agree to the following / Les parties s’entendent comme suit:
1. The preamble forms an integral part of this Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement); / Le préambule fait partie intégrante de la présente entente (ci-après nommé “l’entente”;
2. The Parties agree that the Employee list referred to in article 4.11.01 of the collective agreement shall include the e-mail addresses of each employee in the Bargaining Unit; / Les parties conviennent que la liste des employés visée à l'article 4.11.01 de la convention
collective doit comprendre les adresses de courriel de chaque employé de l'unité de négociation;
3. This modification will be effective in the upcoming February 2022 month-end report, which will be sent to the Union at the beginning of March 2022; / Cette modification entrera en vigueur dans le prochain rapport de fin de mois de février 2022, qui sera transmis au syndicat début mars 2022;
4. The Union hereby acknowledges that, before having signed the present Agreement, they had sufficient time to review the terms and conditions contained therein; / Le syndicat reconnaît qu'avant d'avoir signé la présente entente, il a eu suffisamment de temps pour en revoir les termes et conditions qui y sont inclus;
5. The Parties acknowledge that this Agreement shall not constitute or be invoked as a precedent of any kind; / Les Parties reconnaissent que la présente entente ne constitue pas et ne peut être invoqué à titre de précédent d'aucune sorte;
6. The Parties have expressly required that the present Agreement be drafted in English. / Les parties ont expressément exigé que la présente entente soit rédigée en anglais.
