About The Event
Come discuss issues affecting TAs and invigilators at McGill.
The format of the meeting is hybrid, in Rutherford 104 (boardroom) and over Zoom.
While Delegate Council meetings take place in the hybrid format, we strongly encourage you to attend in person if possible. In-person attendance helps delegates and other members to get to know each other better and build a greater sense of solidarity through direct interactions and meaningful conversations before, during, and after the meeting.
Please only join by Zoom if you are on Macdonald campus or out of town, have health-related concerns, caregiving responsibilities, or experience other challenges. Thank you for helping us build a strong union. And don't forget - dinner at the DC meetings is on us!
The AGSEM Delegates’ Council, comprised of departmental TA and Invigilator Delegates, is a deliberative body that meets once a month to discuss and vote on issues related to TA and Invigilator working conditions on campus. AGSEM members (McGill graduate students employed as a TA or Invigilator in the past 12 months) are welcome to attend Delegates’ Council meetings; however, they will not have any responsibilities or voting rights until officially appointed as a Delegate by their PGSA or by the DC.
Registration is necessary to attend the event, and the meeting link and agenda will be sent to those who register in advance of the meeting.
If your hiring unit does not have representation on the Delegates' Council and you are interested in being a Delegate for the 2022-23 year, please contact us at email@example.com.
